MOTD?

Hi, I'm new to the forums and have been playing on the server a week or two. I got slayed because I was rushing B when the call was for A. I have no problem with that except for that I wasn't aware of the rules. I also noticed that you do not have a motd. I was just wondering if you needed someone to design one for you or if you didn't have one for a reason. If you are looking for one, I am an computer major in college and could put one together for you. Just putting it out there. After reading the rules, I realize that I obviously needed to be slayed but I think it would be beneficial to you to have a motd to display the rules without having to come to the site. Let me know. Thanks.

Welcome to the forums! I'm glad you are good enough to understand why you were slayed, and willing to follow the rules now! Hopefully someone will come along to answer your question shortly, just wanted to welcome you!

Why thank you. Yes, I completely understand why I was slayed. I have played many servers and this one is very unique in that it requires that you play counter strike the way that counter strike was meant to be played. I love it. Again, this is not meant to say you should have a motd, but more if you want one I have the ability to make a pretty decent one.

We do have a MOTD that displays our basic rules. Maybe it didn't come up for you for some reason, but we do have one. And welcome

It's working for me on the main server, but I can't take a screenie of it.

Sometimes for me, on DOD and TF2 (Since I actually play else where on those games. CS:S is not worth it unless its TTP.) I have the MOTD from other servers that stay in place, until it updates a bit later.

just read the rules in this forum (sticky) and/or ask people in game, most of us are more than willing to help you out.

Welcome to TTP and the forums, TravO! IMO here at TTP we have some of the best site and server designers/mods around. I'm sure they're looking into the MOTD issue, because we definitely have an MOTD, which is very important to the way we game.

Get to know people, be a teamplayer, and get involved in the forums, and you will soon see why TTP is the best gaming community in the world.
