Thread: Good games this weekend

Bigtymer got the Ts a nice win on de_cbble today with a good mix of misdirection and straight-up-the-gut attacks. Toker and Phantom did the leadership and heavy lifting for a T team facing a pretty good CT team on de_nuke yesterday and we won that too. It's always nice to see a map that could get badly stacked against T and kill the server turn into a hard fought battle where both sides are having fun and being challenged.

Hitch clutched a round on de_prodigy a week or so ago.
Raush clutched a round on de_dust2 (with 3hp, i think) a few days ago.

I've been rednekkin' the shotty a bit much lately. I've had a couple of "Texas 2-fers" that are simply hilarious to pull-off. They are easiest to get after a Mardigan style rush and the low-health, tattered remains of his PECK victims are running with herd mentality and pure intention to make things right...boom,click, boom, click, boom!

Good games at night, during the day it's really sad to see how the regs in the server act. Nothing bannable but ppl break a lot of unwritten rules. I get on to play with some real deal ppl and I see residents and reservists loading up on CT side on nuke, chateau and awping to boot. You tell em an they give you the typical l337 gamer umad response. But at night when the og's get on the game is fun.

Just sucks that some ppl here don't play the way they should and that means constantly challenging yourselves always taking the hard side and being leaders. This is the way it was but it seems the young guns got different plans.

Everyone came together well on Nuke and really played hard on the T side. Was a great victory indeed..

...ditto... it isn't just the young players either... there are some elder regs that are in some kind of STAT mode or something too. Lots of sell-out going on. It'll clean up, they'll see what it does to overall morale.

Yeah. It has been fun gaming the past couple of days. Specially at 3 in the morning....good to see people still stay on.

Who's playing tonight? I g2g to work at 5 but I'll be back around 11. I'm gonna play till morning. Anyone care to join?

If I can get the wife to bed at a decent hour, I'm game. =P Tomorrow though, I'm on all day. I work four 10's, so I'll try to prime Friday morning for a healthy day of early cs pwnge....
