Also, I am the prime example of why doing it only on skill would be a bad thing. I have a total of 6 hours playtime versus your 10 hours and have been away from the servers for almost a full year. I am ranked 256th, wouldn't you be a little mad if I was ranked above you even though back then I probably was a little more skilled than you? I think taking your commitment to the game is an important stat for rankings.

Just looking at someones KDR, KPM, Acc., SPK, HPK stats are not the basis of a good team player. They can be arrogant, non-responsive and solo players and does TPG want that or want to reward that...no! Stats don't make the player, his actions in game do. Players with no fear, who communicate and place the team above all else is what makes him/her a good player. Stats alone are meaningless.
Sure, TeamPlay is a factor that can't be measured in a stat. That being said if I were captain charged with picking a team I would choose you to play over me. Why? I know that you are a "better" player than I am. You are a better shot, and in most cases play the game better.

You would have picked me back then, it is TBD on how bad I am

Without watching you play and reviewing your stats, here are some suggestions to help you improve your game:

Aim just a little higher than you are now. Your HLStats show you are not hitting the chest/head enough. You are close but where ever you are aiming now, just go a few pixels higher.

Stop buying the P90 and berettas, your accuracy with both is really bad and both encourage spraying, which is something you want to avoid.

Use your base pistols for now. Don't buy any other pistols until you have those 2 down. Only then should you start working on the deagle. They are free and the pistol you will have with you the most.

I know you may enjoy certain weapons over others for the fun factor but here are the most economical/powerful weapons in the game and the only ones you should buy if you truly want to get better:
glock, usp, ak47, m4a1, mp5, all grenades and armor.

Don't just buy to buy. Save money when you can't buy armor and grenades. TIP: only buy the m4a1 when you can buy full armor and grenades. Buy an AK when you can get some grenades and a vest armor. Otherwise, save your money and lead a charge with your glock/usp or try to pick up a weapon from other players.

Lastly, I looked at your stats and you seem to have stepped your game up recently. Keep it up and if you ever want to talk more about what you can do to help your game out...I am available to help.

Thanks manno. Bunni gave the same advice a while back about "dragging" my crosshairs. It is one of the things I try to concentrate on improving whenever I play.

Its an old ut theory, splitting all shots into two categories: flex shots (wrist snap) and lineups. Unless you actively toggle your sensitivity, you'll either have lineup problems at close range, or extreme ranges (with no scoped weapons), thats where the drag net comes in.

I have a article half done lying around here somewhere that i could finish if anyone actually cared to see it?

I like the way the HLstats work, it rewards consistency over time.

I would like to see the theory. Seems like the range issues are best solved by a little babylonian tweaking to me...
