Clutch? NO, you get music!
Well, as this happened to me today, and I have seen it happen many times before I thought I would say something about it. When I play, I use sound to my advantage. I have learned to listen for footsteps, reloads, drops, picking stuff up, ect. as I'm sure many others do. Listening becomes very important a few times, but one time stands out, the attempt at a clutch. While on Pira this evening I was given the opportunity to be the last man alive with time to stalk the few remaining CTs, to attempt to win the round for my team. As I start to walk about, listening for any possible distinguishable sound, one with power decides to give me a little 1 v (insert number here) music. While I'm sure everyone who had died were bored, and found this music amusing, I did not. This music messed up my concentration, and made it quite difficult for me to hear anything over it. I'm sorry if yall are bored, but I'm doing my best to help my team win the round, my number one goal every round. I do know the music can mask my own footsteps, but, at least I, do not find this advantageous. In this particular incident, I did hear some movement, but because of the music I couldn't tell where from, removing my possible advantage.
I know this is in the past, and I'm not wanting to complain about it, I just want to make it known that at least for me, and probably for others, the music, while cute when out of game, can ruin someone's in game experience. I would like to ask those with the ability to play such music to do it very sparingly. If the person still alive is a reg, and one considered to be pretty good, give them a chance and enjoy the stalk. Don't add silly music to mask over in game sounds.
I hope what I'm trying to say is clear, my grammar and sentence structure isn't to broken, and next time you will refrain from adding your own little touch to similar situations.

Yea it was a 2v1 and I was one of the people ab1tar was attempting to clutch against, both me and my team mate were pissed about it too.
Don't play the shitty music during the round. After the round is over nobody give a shit, but during the round it's just annoying.

I was the third person of this situation. Although I was killed by Abitar because I could not hear what direction he was coming from because of the music, I was not totally pissed. Music being played while I am still alive never happens and tonight was the first time. It was frustrating yes and music should not be played until the round is over, but it should not be taken out of the servers completely like some people want. I love when music is played when someone clutches a round, knives/nades the last remaining enemy, or simply when the match is complete. It's fun and brings life to the servers when sometimes it's a little bit boring or dead. Yes it probably has happened to you before Abitar, but after this thread I'm sure the admins will spread the word not to play music before the end of the round. By the way I knew you were flanking me on Pira and if there was no music....you would have been mine! Good job killing me and nice try for the clutch. Nice clutch Fajita!

Yeah, I figured I only got you because of the music, and the possible HS you did have the jump on me and got the first shot off if I remember correctly. But not playing during the round is all I'm asking, I too enjoy it for a knife, or after a particularly impressive clutch But as I said after it!

This has been brought to the attention of the admins, and we are currently discussing it.
Locked for the time being.

Re: Clutch? NO, you get music!
This was discussed with the admin almost immediately after that round ab1tar. Typically music should only be played at the end of the round, or a very short clip at any other time. Mission impossible is a rather long clip and I can understand your frustration.
Additionally, if you don't like music ever, I suggest to anyone that feels the same way I do (that it's just noise pollution) to put the following command in console or in your config file.
You may need to also clear your game cache and /sounds directory to ensure the sound data is all purged.
