    So you want a static map cycle of D2, pira, season, cbble, nuke, inferno, and port? That would get old pretty quick. The whole point of this topic is to get MORE variety into the maps, but if you put say 747 in the cycle, and it comes up at say 1AM, then hello dead server.

    Do we still have the question votes like, "do you want to play a custom map?"

    True. But getting scorch, prodigy, and mill in there wouldn't kill the servers. Not sure about the question though..

    Ive seen prodigy empty the servers my entire career. Except when we only had one css server and it was full of regs, now when prodigy comes players run to other server.

    I still see many flaws with this idea.

    Nothing wrong with prodigy if you have a lot of regs on like you say. There are some flaws but at least the ideas are flowing for a change of pace in the map rotation. I am thankful for it.

    The problem with a static rotation is you can't control when the map comes up, so it may come up early or late when only a few regs are on, then the server dies.

    Yes this is one of the biggest flaws but it could be overcome pretty easily I believe.

    Do tell. Since it is a static rotation when the map comes up on the list it plays, so how do we "easily" overcome it?

    ..I think it would be funny to turn Forest into a hostage map. Then make the objective for the T's to pop them before they get to the safe zone! LOL

    So what makes this any worse than a random shitty map selection at 2am? The server still dies, or people jump servers.
