Re: What would you improve on?
When I get startled by multiple enemies relatively close to one another, i have a tendency to spray, rather than taking my time and aiming.

The thing I need to improve on most is consistency. I'm the type of player that will drop a 20 bomb one half and follow it up with a 4-13 effort the next half in scrims...Or on the TPG servers, drop 50+ one map then come back and go like 12-20 the next map ;[
It's just something I do. The last time I was consistently good at this game was when my team was making it's run to the playoffs and got moved up to CAL-M. We were putting in so many hours that playing CS began to feel like a job and the game just wasn't fun at all anymore. So now it's like whenever I get too serious, or too focused, or whatever else, my skills just instantly turn off and I go into scrub mode until I either stop caring or get frustrated enough to quit and take a break -.-

Re: What would you improve on?
Good subject vafa
For me, the area i need to work on are my sniping skills, staying relaxed, calling better accurate calls while playing as a CT, and staying quiet most of the time. Whenever im using an awp or a scout, I tend to shoot too fast without aiming properly...i get too impatient at times. Staying relaxed and being patient is what im currently working on, cuzz I tend to rush most of the time, which often causes me to die too fast ☹. Calling better accurate calls while playing as a CT is another thing that I need to work on lol, because I tend to call the rush too fast and i sometimes get faked and cause my CT team to over rotate…I know I call it fast, but most of the time my bomb-site rush calls are right :P but, its better to be safe than sorry I guess. I know I get quiet most of the time and not even greet people whenever I join the servers…that’s cuzz my girlfriend don’t like me playing CSS. she thinks I play too much and waste a lot of my time doing so ☹, but I cant help it im addicted to this game lol but I do need to stay quiet sometimes just to not piss her off. U know the term “who wears the pants in the relationship?” …im workin on that lol…so just bare with me if I become quiet at times.
If I had to choose someone in TPG to coach me and become their apprentice, it would be vafa for strat calling and becoming a good leader. Vafa, in my opinion, is the best strat caller and the best leader in TPG. There’s a lot of good leaders and strat callers in TPG, but none compare to vafa...am i wrong?. Spring and Pimp can teach me a thing or two in terms of sniping because they're both have really good timing and accuracy

Re: What would you improve on?
Good advice illusion, and good calls earlier today. I definitely always watch the kills to see if top players are getting frags, depending on who's calling the T side. Sometimes it's a dead giveaway that a fake's in progress. As well as using top players effectively, I need to think more about how to get the rest of the team to disperse such that they'll lay out a good slowplay/work picks call without it being too micromanaged. Maximize people's strengths and minimize their weaknesses, since it always sucks to see a couple people getting good picks and then someone brainfarts and 2-3 people get killed by a P90 rush that should have been stopped cold. At one point I had considered setting up 3 or 4 squads in a team (i.e. you 3 on squad 1, you 4 on squad 2, you 4 on squad 3 so customize where people go and work their strengths the best) during a slowplay on map start and then using that to be able to direct them around the map on slowplays or elaborate calls easier. At least it'd be set up to use as an option, but you'd have to tell new people to the team what squad they were on, and when I'd think about it then next time I'd call someone on the team would be drunk, or screwing around, or having issues with incredibly basic calls. I think that T side definitely benefits a lot when you can get everyone working the places that they are good at picking, without people getting in each other's way.

Re: What would you improve on?
Patience. I tend to rush/shoot first and ask questions later. I like to be in front where I know I can get the flashes off ect... and can be somewhat predictable. I would have pimp show me a thing or 2. He really knows how to pick a team appart on a rush and has a good sense of time and feel for where the rest of the team is and what is going down.
Did I say that or was I just thinking it?

We have good beer in common! I bet the tequila will be next. Try Gran Centenario Rosangel Tequila | Liqueurs - Flavored | Tequila Reviews at Tequila.net my all time favorite.

Re: What would you improve on?
Don't know how I missed such a good thread.
Quite a few things I know I can self improve on.
Consistency:
Has been my focus for awhile now. In previous years outside of TPG, as well as coming in, I use to be a very consistent player. This has changed for me a lot I and struggle to find out all the factors on why. I know a big one is getting my eyes/wrists/brain on the same page -- and the best thing for me seems to be a short physical/mental prep before playing. Getting older so this doesn't come as immediately as it use to. Also watching some of the good fraggers to help keep me from being impatient, and the game as a whole so I can better anticipate what play style I need to adjust into for that set of opponents/teammates.
Flashes/Smokes:
Believe Manno, and many others, would be coaches for this. I am mindful to not flash team-mates -- buy and use flashes constantly. But I still need to learn the best angles and locations for them, especially on the objective side. I get people really good often with flashes, but rarely capitalize on them. I know of only a few select spots for smoking, and have been taking mental notes of smokes that others toss that help. Best advice I've heard on this yet is to place smokes so the opponent is coming out of them into your line of site. Although they make great cover for rushes too, and I'm really pushing to learn this better.
Calling:
Believe I am actually a good caller, but still need to improve on this. Not always good at getting out more complex calls in simple words, in a short time. I listen to Smoken/Vafa often to get better at this. Both are great at it, and often change things up mid round which makes them both exceptional leaders. We all know Manno is a good caller too, and I've played so many hours with him I pretty much know what his next call is going to be. But hate to see him have to call so much, as I know he likes to lay back some and follow too. (As do I)
Adjusting:
Being more flexible with style of play, so I fit myself into the team better. Especially true on objective side. I can become more of a nuisance than benefit to some teams because I'm not fitting myself into it, and doing what I usually do best. Think Hansel/Phantom would be good coaches on this, as they seem to fit into most teams they are with well.
Not Drinking:
I do really well while drinking, but this creates a skill curve over session time. Hit this peak, than as I start to get drunk everything goes to shit. But it relaxes my mind, loosen's my tongue, and makes a lot of my presence better. Just eventually I go over the hill. Even slowing some may help. I can go through 8-10 5.5% beers in a matter of a couple of hours easy, and for someone small like me this takes its toll quickly.
Overall I think I am going to get myself a better mouse/pad for Xmas, work out a better sensitivity that will allow be to adjust more easily, and analyze some of my play more using demo's. Lastly, I still think there is a lot I do right

Re: What would you improve on?
I am hot and cold when it comes to gaming. Some days I am OK and some days I am horrible. I do think some of it depends on the map I am playing just like everyone else I have my favorite maps and ones I don't like playing. So I need to be more consistent.
I need to work on my long range shots with the AK/Colt.
I also need to improve my reaction /reflex. I am slow compared to everyone else, sometimes I get lucky.
I am sure there are a lot more but that is enough for now.
