Shot Calling

Observation,

People need to stop trying to call over someone already making the calls. This is one thing that irritates me to great lengths and should be avoided. I have seen several good teams loose, because the entire map there are 2+ people trying to call. Also, when one person is already calling, even if you mean well, don't try and make a call over them. Even if their calls are not working, don't just try and make a call, suggest to them, ask them if you can make a call, because usually, at least for me, if several rounds in a row the call does not work, I want some help, but not in the form of someone calling over me.

Mostly, people just need to not try and call over others, if there is one already, make suggestions, ask, don't call over. If there are several at the beginning of the map, choose one within the first round. Avoid confusion, work as a team and beat the hell outta your opponents!

Also, I may have been a bit of a dick today to a certain someone trying to just help his team, and I apologize for that, it was uncalled for.

Agreed, happens to me sometimes when people take a long time to say a call someone steps in and then there two calls. When someone calls over me I just agree with them so that the team is not confused and people are trying to follow two calls works most the time. If it doesn't work just call slow play.

Oh I agree, I know I accidentally do it at times. I'm usually trying to just suggest, or discuss possible plays but sometimes it just comes out as, 'rawr said X, that's the call!' which is not always my intent. Although it does bother me when someone is making a call, and some random person types one and people get all confused or try to follow the call that was typed.

Another thing that I thought of is people need to stop criticizing people's calls, especially if they are somewhat standard calls that just didn't work. It happens, don't be a douche, and don't criticize, does nothing to help the team.

I do think that people should speak up and make suggestions if the calls that a person is making are failing constantly. This being said they should like you said do in a nice way and not in a bitchy way which leads nowhere.

I'll make suggestions to the calls that were just made using team chat. Usually the person making the call at the time will recognize it or see it and say thanks ill keep that in mind for next time. Making suggestions is not a bad thing, you just cant be a total dick about it.

I think it important to communicate what is being seen. Such as they are only sending one person to cover X. Or they nade stack X every round or they are holding nades til we peak etc. The caller may not see that and that info will help his calls.
