Nextwish Buy Script

Hi Guys,

Finally got my new rig up and running. I downloaded steam and CS:S etc...

I had to download nextwish 17.2 buy script again. When I goto install it im running into a problem.

The installer tells me to direct the install to steam\steamapps\my email. When i click on this the "INSTALL" box does not come unshaded not allowing me to install. It says "The install will not continue until it finds platform.gcf in the directory below the one selected".

I have it going to "c:\program files (x86)\steam\steamapps\kingcobra1969@comcast.net".

Any ideas why it's not working?

never used that program, but the steam folder is \steamapss\[steam account username]

Never used buy scripts. But I can confirm FireDragoon's reply. Don't know what else to tell you.

he doesnt mean email, he means your steam user name...so whatever folder your CS folder is inside, that one. for me it would be:

c:\program files (x86)\steam\steamapps\consultant ..... I think.

Username is my email address. The "Install" does not highlight. This is crazy.

You could always just write the buy scripts yourself and put them in your autoexec.cfg, which is located in cstrike/cfg (I think).

That's the problem i'm running into. In my file i have config.cfg then nextwish.cfg and the ncws.cfg that lists the alias's for the weapons. Can't seem to get them working. I'll check out fpsbanana

If you want the items in nextwish.cfg to be part of your in-game configuration then I think you have to put "exec nextwish.cfg" in your autoexec.cfg. Otherwise, just copy and paste the parts you want from nextwish.cfg into autoexec.cfg.
