server lag?

I highly doubt the weather has any affect on the severs right now. If it did and the ice storms had any affect on the data center, the servers would probably be down because of power lines, data lines, etc.

Hitch, just because your ping went up with the server move, doesnt mean that the servers should go back to texas. I'm extremely happy with the move to chicago since my ping went from ~80ms to ~40ms. I think that in general, chicago is a much more central location for the tpg community than dallas (or wherever the servers were before) since i don't believe we have many mexicans that play on the servers

But, we do have a few Californians who are, in turn, getting screwed.

I put in a ticket with Hypernia asking if it's possible to be moved back to the Dallas Datacenter. I mean, they did tell us we would be able to in the future.

Seems to me like most people can, in general, connect easier to Dallas than Chicago. Not sure why. Chicago seems fine for most, but we've had several west coasters that have had much more trouble connecting.

It's been having a bunch of trouble for me lately, and it seems that it's been laggy for other people on the servers when I'm playing. It sort of balances because we're all laggy, but it's not as much fun as it would be if we all had stable pings.
