Favorite Parts of One Life Games?

Because of something recently I started thinking about the Voice Chat built into One Life Games(CS, AA3 and others) and I realized one of my favorite things that happens in one life games are when someone is giving recon or that of an area and they are suddenly cut off as they were killed, being on both sides(killed and the rest of the team) is such a fun expiriance to me and also when you know you may be killed and rush to try and let your team know before you go down. That for me is one of the great strenghts of One Life Games and is something that can't be dupilcated in other types of games, so I was wondering what are your favorite parts of one life games, what keeps you coming back?

PS: If this is in the wrong forum I'm sorry but I thought since CS:S is played in One Life mode here, this would be the place to put it.

I just like the competitiveness of it all I feel like people are much more inclined to try and play their best if they risk sitting out for 2 minutes or longer.

Adds a special dynamic to each round. Rather than a continuous kill fest, every player's choices have a significant impact. The 'one-life' aspect, with the mixture of team vs team, and non-fictional weaponry is pretty much what drew me into CS. Difficult to say what other benefits it has outside the game, as it's the only one I've really played with that rule set.
