de_port issue
Thanks for your responses guys.
What I've gleaned from y'all's posts is this:
-Inform the team of my plans, if my plans differs from the norm
-Mix up my strategies depending on the situation
-Stick with the team's plan
-Everything ultimately depends on the admin
I've amended my post to bigdog's comments, if you were wondering.

If everyone was playing silently, and just doing whatever, then the entire team is at fault.
If everyone was saying "rush left let's go" and you said nothing, and stayed in the spawn, then you are a spawn camper, regardless of how well you write here. You make a good case, but the KEY is communication.
Some spawns have to have persistent members there. And some spawns don't. Port is a map where both the CS and T spawns are actually tactically advantageous.
A map like piranesi, not at all, for either team.
Use your mic, get your team to know what you are doing and why, and STICK WITH THE GROUP.
