Depends if you get the speed or control version.

I got control because the speed is that hard plastic crap that slides everywhere.
The control is the nice smooth cloth. Its so nice, i used to use my old pad as a plate and coaster, not this one, to nice!!!!

The goliathus comes in speed or control, both cloth. you're thinking of a different pad.
