Re: Changes to Main - AWP Restricted to 1 per Team.
there's no end to the escalation rainbow guys. 1 per team leads to 2 who want it. 2 per team leads to 4 that want it. 3 per team leads to 6 that want it.
a 2 awp limit isn't going to solve the issue of more people wanting to awp than available awps. on the other hand, i'm pretty sure it would create more raging, even more slowplay than i've aleady noticed happening just for the sake of the 1 guy with an awp, more leg-humping of the awpers, and even more jealousy of people that have them.
1 is great. why satiate the minority that can't even manage teamplay without it?

It's sad really. How AWPs are such a huge issue, honestly IF the Ts have a good caller, there's no need to whine about this. I remember playing Nuke with Manno last night, we played so good rushing, slow playing, playing smart really. Apart from a few callers, most play aggressive. And those are the ones who love to AWP. I personally love to AWP, but my calls are not slow plays always so I can AWP. People need to stop QQ-ing over a gun.

I call the same with an awp as without =/ I don't slow play unless I think the other team is pushing or my team can't execute anything correctly. Only difference is I will go out of my way to setup certain smokes or have someone else do it.

Re: Changes to Main - AWP Restricted to 1 per Team.
Oh so today I did a random ass thing on both servers. Played 3 maps on each server and counted the number of rushes to slow plays on each server. These results may be surprising to a lot of people.
No Awp Server: (Ratios are roughly not exact)
Map: Dust 2 Rush Calls: 19 Slow Plays: 6 Ratio of 3:1
Map: Nighthawk Rush Calls: 15 Slow Plays: 8 Ratio of 2:1
Map: Season Rush Calls: 12 Slow Plays: 6 Ratio of 3:1
Awp Server
Map: Contra Rush Calls: 17 Slow Plays: 8 Ratio of 2:1
Map: Train Rush Calls: 12 Slow Plays: 11 Ratio of 1:1
Map: Mill Rush Calls: 22 Slow Plays: 6 Ratio of 4:1
Even though this is a small sample size of the daily play time, as you can see the awp does not construe the constant and nagging slow play that some people claim it does. Case in point the gun is never the problem, its always the person making the calls or the team around you.

My only real issue with an awp is if the defending team is up and using an awp. It happens all the time in the servers, and regardless of any call it is still OP if put in the right (wrong) hands.
OR if the attacking team decides not to attack just because they have a fancy gun. I see this happen way too often on piranesi, and it only bothers me if I see it happen repeatedly in a game.Words are only limited to the effable, while the indescribable is merely found within ourselves.

And thank goodness. One Awp per team is perfect and it fits in great with TPGs style of CS:S. I would hate to see what would happen to the AWP server if Awps became unrestricted. I am positive the essence of TPG CS:S would be ruined. The majority of TPG players don't use the Awp and that is why it is restricted to one per team now. The minority of "for" Awp players should be satisfied with one per team.
There are times when I play in the Awp server when no one even buys the Awp for the whole map...

Like I said, I still stand by it, 2 per team should be a standard. That way CTs can have 1 on each site, and Ts dont have to fight over which 1 guy can AWP.
