    Re: Declining FPS

    *sigh* Keyword: DECLINING.

    This can happen due to:
    Drivers not updated
    Unclean hardware
    Unclean software

    How to fix it:
Just OPEN your rig, and clean it.
    Clean your registry.
    Clean your temp files.
Run an anti virus, anti spy ware scan.

Pretty much all you need. And I know we have a lot of graphics junkies on TPG, but you need to realize, games and the human brain do NOT need more than a certain amount of fps. For css it's around 66, but keep it caped at 121 is the optimum amount.

If any graphics fan boys or fps lovers wanna argue, go ahead, I don't wanna waste my time with your rants.
Australian-I feel for ya bro gaming on a piece of shit you should be twice as good at any game you play. Thats really really a scary thought. Part of me does not want you to get a new rig.

I don't give a shit how high it is long as it's playable. I played around 60 for years

Not too sure about ripping my laptop apart though...

And as for your cfg, don't use CEVO. For 2 reasons.

    1. It's outdated.
    2. It isn't honestly good for all machines.

Use Kaizen's cfg, and change a few things in it. The rates and interp, cause those are outdated, apart from that you should be good to go.

What's the benefit of having any config? I have played stock forever. What will the config do to benefit me?

It's definitely overheating and dust. I clean mine every 3 months.

I used this site to help me at first.

Disassemble, repair, take apart, upgrade, clean Toshiba laptop or notebook yourself.

A cfg is YOUR shit. You use a cfg, even if you don't realize it. Any binds, settings, name, sensitivity, ANYTHING you changed from stock, is in a cfg. Difference between the regular one, and the ones we talk about is they are more detailed, so that IF anything is ever changed, we can go back to what we want.

I understand that. I've modified my config to add crosshair adjustments and buttons to toggle the crosshair settings. What is the benefit of Kaizen?

    Re: Declining FPS

There are many cfg out there, many types also.

    Performance, low fps, extreme, etc.

Kaizen is what I used to build my cfg about 4 years ago.

My cfg is mostly customized by me, but I learned from kaizen.

I always recommend Kaizen only cause, it optimizes shit.

What is the use? Well, many cmds in the default are useless, or excessive. Like the time a spray will be on the wall, or how many bullets you can see. The brightness of your screen, the bomb's LED's light. Many minor shit come in, sitting here and discussing it all would take ages.

Try out Kaizen, and back up yours somewhere, and then let me know.

Even just now on de_inferno it was unplayable (around 30 fps) during rushes.
    All settings are lowest/off
I'm lucky if I get 30 fps on inferno
