today...
well there was a lot of complaints about how we always play the same maps over and over and how that css needs some new maps, but imo i think we have a lot of maps way more than we even need. people just need to vote for other maps simple said.
there is 50 maps and i think we have most of them split up between the 2 servers.
dont just take my word for it look for your self

I don't get complaints like this. That's how voting works. If a map gets voted it's because the majority wants it.

Re: today...
Well, the majority are people who hop on for 20 mins, while the regs who primed and put in a few hours get fucked. The majority joins and instantly wants Stike/Temple/Season/D2 while we already played it a bazillion times that day.
I think a good map is a good map. We should always be adding maps and forcing the players to learn them. I haven't been playing much (BF3>CSS), but sometimes I just wish the servers were on a set rotation... and trust me I can see the cons to that as well, but I'm just sick of the same maps over and over...

Re: today...
I think the most played maps should:
A) Have longer recently nominated times
B) If the maps are put randomly in have the more played maps a less likely chance to be on the list
C) If on the list put them near the bottom.
I think the problem is regularity. People just want to play the same maps because they know there decently balanced and know the map well. Its also easier for people to pick up calling and make calls. Its hard to get a team organized if major of the people don't know the map or some basic calls. If they don't know the map a lot tend to either make excuses or rtv starting a rtv train. I making a lot of assumptions but I've seen it happen quite often with maps played off and on. Maybe have a week or two were only lesser played maps are available and get them off the ground.
