Just putting it out there...
This is TPG, NOT a scrim...People can buy guns whenever they want to and shouldnt be criticized for it. "its kinda rule to save 3rounds" No it isnt, Not one bit, Get that thought out of your heads, You cannot be banned for not saving for 3 rounds. No one here on TPG has the ability to control who buys what and when Period end of discussion. "This is a teamplay server, your going against your team and the ideals of teamplay if you dont save" No your not, By buying a weapon you are trying to help, its not detrimental at all. "its smart" Ok fine i see why its smart, but again dont criticize ANYONE for buying a gun 2nd round in. "they do it in scrims" THIS ISNT A FUCKING SCRIM.
I understand your thoughts behind it, but dont call me or anyone else stupid for not listening to how YOU play the fucking game. I bought this game to play it the way I want to and thats exactly what im gonna do along the Rules and TOS provided by TPG, And in THOSE Rules that EVERYONE should read it says nothing about saving for 3 rounds, So dont come at me again about it.

No, it's not a scrim, but it's very close to it. We have calls, strategies, etc. There are two sides to this. Yes, by buying a weapon, you're helping your team, but save rounds do too. Should you save three rounds in a row? Maybe, maybe not. Lots of times, I have a ton a cash, and just buy a DE.

Re: Just putting it out there...
No no one said that anyone should be banned for it, you are correct, However trying to say its a rule is bullshit and is along the lines of saying its a rule that you broke and therefore should be banned. My point is plain and simple aside from the xtra added b.s i through in cause this pissed me off. Dont call people stupid for not playing the game the way YOU play it, and dont try telling people that something is a rule thats not a rule. Even if you say it KINDA is...Doesnt matter, its not.
Its the exact same thing as playing A only when its not 5v5, No its not a rule, however its frowned upon. This is the same concept, Frown upon me all you want, but when we have new people in the server dont try telling them its "kinda rule" on our servers to save 3 rounds.Last edited by Stealthyking; 10-28-11 at 01:20 AM.

Wow, Stealthy, you had an argument with a 15 year old, you get that? Calm down.
As to "it's a rule", that comment was by me, it's something ALL smart people who play do. If you lose round 1, you save / eco the next 3 rounds.
As for control what, who buys? Yes, the caller, CAN tell the team to buy what and when. Most don't.
You can argue if they should or not, but that's not something anyone cares about that much.
Most good callers, will specify, and tell the team, "okay, we are saving this round, let's ....", or something close.
So to your rant, YES it can be controlled.

Re: Just putting it out there...
If the caller says "don't buy" or "save" in a timely manner and you do anyway, you are going against the call.
As to buying rifles 2nd round; in general, its stupid. You are either giving the other team a rifle or you are destroying your own money. The team that lost isn't going to buy full kevlar and still have money for anything to kill you efficiently with. Nades and SMGs dominate the second round. Money management is crucial in matches, so naturally techniques have been established that give a team the greatest opportunity to win. Saving at least the first 2 rounds (or 2 after losing pistol round) is standard practice because it is the best.
And I will continue to dissuade others from buying the first three rounds.Last edited by Madmax (Grape); 10-28-11 at 03:29 AM.
We can do better.

Re: Just putting it out there...
Yea, buying a M4 after you win pistol round as a CT is almost as bad as the Ts buying AKs after they lose. Most successful eco rounds come from Ts picking up M4s and causing much more damage than they ever could with deags.
