Welcome! Believe me, if I can play with them, you'll be fine!

    Welcome!

Couple advices... If you don't know the maps well, join CT, so you can still play and learn, otherwise you are likely to mess up the call, piss off others, and/or likely be banned for not following. Also, keep your rage down, especially not talking back to admin when being corrected. There is zero tolerance on disrespecting admins. They already work too hard to keep everyone happy.

Other than that, have fun here!

You could not have found a better place to play CSS. The learning curve here on TPG is steep but well worth it. My advice is don't worry about your kills / deaths or rankings as these things are just naturally going to improve. No one is going to come down on you for not getting kills or "having talent", but they will come down on you hard for ruining an otherwise beautifully executed call (whether you do it intentionally or not). Your value here is not judged by your skill but by your ability to participate in strategic teamplay. Listen carefully at the start of rounds for strategies and follow them when the round begins. Rough-housing aside, we are pretty respectful of those who want to be here and pretty unsympathetic towards those who demonstrate that they don't. You seem to be the former. Welcome buddy, see you in game.

Don't listen to Lee, he has a facebook group and blog of Lee Haters! (prolly you do, I wouldn't be surprised).

As for your bad experience with rudeness, like FireDX (DRAGOON) said, just ignore em. IF you do anything wrong, admins will let you know. And let the players know you are new, many will step forward to help. If I see you on, I'll give you a few pointers.

Anyway, welcome to TPG, and have fun man. .

Remember this is a video game, not a million dollars on the line.
Australian-I feel for ya bro gaming on a piece of shit you should be twice as good at any game you play. Thats really really a scary thought. Part of me does not want you to get a new rig.

Don't listen to Aussie, he is gay. Also, don't run in front of him, he likes to play grab-ass.

Thank you all for your welcomes and thank you for your sage yet hilarious at times advice on being a part of TPG. I was able to play a game earlier with some people and I felt like I was actually doing something by listening to calls and informing people if I heard enemy movement. This is a far cry just waiting to die like in the usual servers I play in. I learned a lot about teamwork and had fun at the same time.
