Thread: Balancing, or lack thereof sometimes...

Threads always end the same. What you can do to prevent this from happening in the future is take screenshots. It may not be about the one round but if somebody is dropping the ball then you should bring it up in the right forum.

If you had proof or anything other than just word of mouth you wouldn't be catching any shit. Taking screens or demos isn't very difficult and allows the admins to see everyone who was in the server. I would assume they would question any admins that were present and get their opinions on what if any changes they made and why. You are basically asking for a boss to reprimand an employee(whichever admin may or may not have been in the server) for a rumor heard that as of right now there is no substantial proof that it is so...I don't know any boss thats worth a damn that would do that for a mistake of this magnitude - and I, personally, am of the opinion that those in charge here are worth a damn.

If you have problems in the future take screens or demos so that there is something for the admins to work with.

You can say_team "@ admin please balance" and it will message the admins. Sometimes, though, I see people complain about a lopsided score when it's gone down to 1v1 many rounds or other very narrow victories for the winning team. Sometimes the other team is just "on" that night.

I DEFINITELY notice a difference when I'm on a team that's lost a series of rounds and people get fired up to win or die trying. I've had those teams come back to being very competitive, where even if they don't wind up staging some epic comeback, they will at least split the remaining rounds 1:1 or so with the enemy team (i.e. when teams are actually balanced). And I've definitely had a lot of fun on a team that was losing 3-13 but fighting to the death and not getting down (after all, it is a video game and the teams change up the very next map).

Dude, admins do think before making changes. If you see a team losing cause they don't hold sites or work as a team, if a team lost cause it went down to 1 v X everytime and the top player on the other team wrecked you. Then it's NOT a team stack.

I understand that SOMETIMES shit happens, so I will not disagree or agree with you, all I'll say, get a screenshot or demo, and post it in the admin abuse or CSS section.

next time take a ss of the scoreboard at the end of the map(because with out this we as admins can literally do nothing about the situation and future ones liek it), use the @ command to speak to the admin and post this in the correct forum. We do have a grievances/support and admin abuse thread for specific cases just like this.
