Thread: New Server IP

We've moved the DOD:S server to our Dallas Hypernia box. The new IP is 72.249.124.131:27015.

This was a clean install. Nothing was ported from the old server. This server should have everything the old one did. Right now, we only have stock maps available. If we want to add custom maps, we'll need to come up with a list.

Map rotation is limited to:

dod_avalanche
dod_donner
dod_flash
dod_kalt

The other stock maps are available via vote or admin intervention.

Edited the priming group to reflect the change.

Guyver, you should use the priming group for announcements more often. Seems like you send invites to individual people instead of that.

Then, we should get some kind of advertisement on the server like in the MOTD and throughout the matches listing the priming group. That way people to happen onto the server when we are priming have a chance to know the group exists and join it for the future.

No, trust me...I use that group all the time. As for in-game ads...admins can bind anything to a key, and send it out to the whole server.
