Acted like an idiot for a joke, or just made a mistake? If it's like a joke, something Jim Carey would do, then no, you're not immature. If you flat out act like an idiot for attention, or whatever it may be, then you may as well be considered immature.
Even you believe so in the 9th rule of your clan, the Dukes:
-We're all young adults, or, at least, mature people.Originally Posted by David Lynch

Okay, My basic point with that is just because you've acted like an idiot at one point in your life, or even multiple times, doesn't make you an idiot.
And, I used that rule is because you were demanding for clan members to be mature, yet the first thing you say immediately afterwards is saying how we're adults. Now if age and maturity don't have any correlation, why would you even include the fact that any of you were adults?
My point is simple: Age and maturity do go hand in hand with the general populace. Generally, the older you get, the more mature you will become. Maturity is a process that takes time. This doesn't inherently mean that you're garaunteed to become an emotionally matured individual.
All I'm saying is that there is acorrelation and like many things in life - nothing is 100% and there always exceptions, older people can act mature and young individuals may act mature, but when it comes down to it - the older you get, there's a greater likelihood that you're more matured.

Either you're misunderstanding me, or you're just acting low with that sentence. You're making out to seem as if I'm saying all adults are immature when you said that.
Well, actually, if you've acted like an idiot multiple times then you'll be considered an idiot. Of course, if you make up for it and keep on the path of not acting like an idiot, then yes, you're right, you're not an idiot forever.
Yes, people make mistakes. If it's a really small one, people overlook it, but if it's big, people will notice it and most likely hold on to that memory. Though like I said, if you make up for it and (you seem to be confusing your Ands and Ors, that's why it's bolded) continue on not being a repetitive idiot, then, well, you're not an idiot.

It's called a qualitative reseearch, maybe once you get out of your high school classes, maybe you'll learn about it. My Criminologist professor is basing her thesis off the study of 15 individuals, does that make it any less valid? Oh, If you need a source:
S. Katyal and E. Awasthi
Department of Child Development, Govt. Home Science College, Chandigarh, India. -> Rertieved through the ebsco database
Happy? Oh wait it doesn't matter because it's not as if you're going to be responding with any sources outside of the wikipedia, are you?
Now, no I wasn't trying to act low. I was trying to show you that even YOU believe that there is a correlation between adulthood and maturity. Why would you even age (Ie: adults) in a "rule" that mandates maturity? It's because adulthood is correlated with maturity. I'm not attacking anyone - it's a common saying, "Act like an adult.
Being CONSIDERED an idiot doesn't MAKE you one, does it? And you're going to tell me you've never acted like an idiot "more than once" or have done so without even really noticing it? If Einstein acted like an idiot around his friends, does it mean he's an actual idiot?
No. it's an ecological factor that changes his behavior. The ecological factor that often leads to adults, who I'd be willing to bet that outside of the internet, are probably more matured individuals, as there are no consequences. That's the main thing here, that there is an ecological factor that is making adults act immature, when in reality they're probably not. Like I said there are exceptions.
So, here - I'll try to simplify this for you too:
Point 1: Adults – in general, are more mature than children.
Point 2: Yes, there are exceptions. But they are just that, an exception to the rule.
Point 3: We’ve all have acted immaturely. When we’re with friends, we’ve let them die, we’ve all run ahead, we’ve downed them, we’ve down many stupid acts which would be construed as immature if they were a stranger. Yet that doesn’t make us immature individuals.
