    U-u-u-uber bump.

How is that song coming around TP?
It started very nicely, I'd like to listen to it once it's finished. :]

I play electric and acoustic guitar, bass guitar, drums, piano, trombone, banjo, bouzouki, harmonica, and baritone. Mostly I concentrate on guitar and piano these days though. I have way too much music to post on here but maybe I'll choose one. I also own a recording studio in Toronto and run my own record label. I'm still in school so I mostly do the music biz on the side but it has been very lucrative.

Metall_pingwin, audacity works fine if you are starting out and don't want to invest money yet. You just have to be sure that your computer (processor, sound card, etc.) can all keep up with recording the second track, otherwise the timing will be off by a few milliseconds due to a bit of lag in the recording process. For example, anytime I tried to record more than 4 tracks on Audacity I would get a slight lag in the 5th. That, or what your are playing may just not mash up well. You can also check out trakAxPC which has a beatmapper and will help you match tempos and whatnot.

That. It was just failed writing on my part. Since then I managed to record a very simple 3 minute something with two simultaneous tracks, and it sounds just fine. I was teh very proud.
