I see I'm a bit late, but I have these problems too. Only on Left 4 Dead, not L4D2 or other games I play online. It doesn't happen as much as it used to, but I still get disconnected sometimes when I try to play. It could be my internet connection acting up (I play via wired Ethernet), but it may not be if others are having problems like this.
