    only 1 gig of ram? im not to good at pricing PCs... but only 1 gig memory? $800? My wallet says no lol

    HELLL NO! U can build a farr superior computer for 800 =P

    While I agree with the Ram upgrade (extremely easy, listen for the clicks and you're done) the CPU upgrade might not be worthwhile, depending on whats available. You'll have to see what the max CPU supported is. If you've got a Socket 775, and can move to some of the E or Q series Intel lines, you'll be golden. Look to spend between 100-250 depending on the processor though. Lastly, be sure to refresh the thermal compound on the processor when you install it (unless you get a fan included set, which often has some grease on it to begin with). CPU installation is a tad more daunting than RAM, but still doable.

    Any word on the model of the PC?
