Right, and even with console open, every second it is repeating that line over and over again.

Go to your desktop shortcut for L4D2 and right click on it. Click properties. Post the Target line along with the launch parameters. Also, go into your Steam menu, click on your games, find L4D2, right click it, click Set Launch Options, and tell me whether you have any listed.

For my desktop L4d2 icon, I created a shortcut in the install folder then added -Steam at the end of the target so I can just play the game from the icon and not have to go into steam (Even though it still doesnt work)

I have nothing in my Steam Launch Options for l4d2
