DOD Maps

As some of you may know I run the TTP Map Making group, I am also fairly new to DOD. However I know many of you aren't. Who's interested in making some DOD maps?

I don't know how to make maps, but if you get on when there aren't very many people on I'll show you some routes.

I was working on a map for css and was trying to figure out why i couldnt add things and realized I had been making a DODS map... :P

Hey everyone,

First, I get non-stop "unpaused the game" text in my console.

Second, Any change I make in console like "mm_dedicated_search_maxping" resets its self to the default value when the game is closed then started again.

Third, even after that ping search mod above, I still get ~100 ping. MY internet is really fast, over 40mbps, I DL around 3-4 MB/s and ping on other games is below 30. Is there another way to lower ping?

lol, you should try the 360 versions... At least PC gets some updates!

I'm not certain about the first one, unless I find anything else. Hopefully the people at Overclockers can help you (yes I found that

.) All I can suggest right now is this, but I'll keep digging.

Edit: I just had an idea. Try going to Steam/SteamApps/common/left 4 dead 2/left4dead2/cfg/ and delete config.cfg. Then verify the integrity of game files. You may lose any key bindings and it may reset the graphics, but they can always be changed back.

Second one, try right clicking L4D2 in Steam > Properties > Local Files > Untick "Enable Steam Cloud Synchronisation" and see if that works.

The third, I'd suggest looking at this. It may also be worth turning off Multicore Support, it's a total guess but it may do something.

Except there is a lot between the message for the map loading and it telling him what he can do as a ghost. These would usually be only a few seconds apart, if that.
