Balance is NOT defined by numbers alone. If a team is down by 2 players yet winning 2 rounds to 1 then despite the numerical disadvantage the BALANCE is in favor of the smaller team that is either making better calls or is simply heavy in terms of skill.

To balance teams... both skill and numbers MUST be considered... and often the map itself should be factored.

The first metric I break out when determining team balance is round victory...
then, is one team simply camping the crap out of the other team...
which can often be seen in TEAM K

first i want to say i didn't mean to call anyone out, i was in a real bad mood last night and dod did not help out at all. If you feel, felt, etc. offended by me bringing it up then sorry, but i hate when teams number wise are uneven. In hindsight i could have done things differently while i was on the server, and i should have. No hard feeling?

No hard feelings from me but I'd like you to think a little about what you are asking for....

You're saying "hey, even though we are beating you guys 2:1 you need to give us another guy."

That is the most absurd thing I've heard in a while and it most certainly gets under my skin.

well i mean i'm not asking for it to be a good player, just better numbers then having an extra body. i mean i've had rounds of like 15-45 and capped over 20 flags. even people struggling can cap hence why the numbers bothered me.

Yes there is a skill difference, but team can be balanced by number and skill at the same time, when i used to play CSS it happened all the time. If one team is getting rolled, a weaker player goes to the winning side, and a stronger to the losing side. why can't it be the same with numbers? send a weaker player over to even the numbers, it doesn't affect the team losing and keeps the numbers the same. Or better yet why not trade two of the weaker players for one of the stronger ones?

All i'm saying is i don't feel in any team shooter, be it BF2, CSS, or DoD. Should a team have 2,3,4 players more then the other and be declared balanced. There are other ways to balance skill without unbalancing the numbers.

Like i said i didn't mean to call anyone out, if some of you want to hate me for saying it then fine, be my guest. If you want to take it personally then so be it, ain't my problem how you see it.
