    Yea, that map was pretty awful. I kept running the wrong way when I was under the bridge. It was really frustrating...

    I also hated how big the middle cap zone is. It was just... impossible to cap the mid.

    And we had absolutely no strategy whatsoever... I just didn't care.

    Our strategy was to cap all the flags in order.. Oh and not to bitch as much as you guys :9

    And ironically, we would have won in another five minutes if things had continued the way they were going.

    It definitely feels like an Allied map, and I think the scores (neither team won a round as Axis, not even the "we have a better strategy" team) prove that somewhat.

    I do think the map has potential, but I think the progressive cap system doesn't work on a map that size, and the middle point needs some serious work - I think it should be a two-man cap, and you should only be able to cap it from underneath or on top, not both.

    I think the progressive cap system is there to prevent cheesing by swimming across (which is very easy once you figure it out) and capping the first via the HUUUUUUGE cap area there - that could also use some work. Spawning at different locations depending on caps works well in TF2, but I don't think it's very good for DoD. I know just about everyone on my team was getting lost IN SPAWN when we were down to our first.

    I dunno, make the map smaller and fix the radius on some of the points and I might actually like it, but for now I think I'll stick to donner/thunder and colmar/jagd, thanks.
