HLSW can still be used in stride with Lonestar. It may be easier and faster to kick or ban someone from the server for some people with a button or right click and select "kick/ban" than it is for them to type "admin_kick <target> [<reason>]" ...especially with some of the ascii some players have managed to put in their names these days even though it's not supposed to be available.

I would use a combination of the two depending upon various circumstances. That would probably make me a valuable member of the admin team.

It shouldn't matter how someone does it. What should matter is that it gets done.

HLSW wouldn't do you any good, for the third time.

If you were hired, you would be a low admin, lows do not have access to rcon passwords.

We don't even use HLSW anymore.

YOU may not use HLSW anymore...doesn't mean that nobody else can use it if they'd want to.

No Bort, we don't use HLSW anymore because it is slower, more cumbersome and more insecure then using a admin mod that we ourselves have created.

Our admins are not allowed to use HLSW, they couldn't if they wanted too.

As for attitude, yours is worrying. I would leave this thread.

I'll step up to the plate. Relatively new to DoD, but I've been around TTP for awhile and have admined for other games before, though not FPS. At times like this I almost feel I should write up a gaming resume, lol.
