EVERY time steam has a sale like this with general sales and daily sales watch every daily sale for the games you might buy then if it doesn't go on sale, Buy it the last day for the general sale price.

Thats always how it works, figure it out, be patient, and don't rage about it afterwards (The steam forums is full of people demanding money back) Use common sense.
