P.S lobster i think its definitely a good idea, my only concern is - balanced teams during that match/skrim/what ever the f* you call it

I'm not being negative, I'm being realistic ...regarding what I said about the PuGs. Toward the end, they were becoming a pain to get set up/started.

I dont see any drawbacks seeing TPG coming down on this idea and giving it some lovin and tweekin to find the right number of players, skill balance, and the appropriate commentator(s) to squeeze it out into a new TPG baby that will get the something going for the dods server and community.

If the 1v1 is boring then find a better number...scatterbrained commentators flying around isnt going to happen if TPG triesd this out...im sure it would be professional and swank when it comes to play by play they got the resources.

I hope you guys get organized and give it a go. There are buckets of ways to improve and put a TPG mushroom stamp on this idea.

All of your points are spot on. I never thought a 1v1 would ever work really, it's just the only shoutcasted vid I could find quickly.
