Ok, time for a rant....

As most of you surely now, I'm one of the biggest fans of the DoD franchise out there, and have been since Beta 3.0 (2002).

However, this is getting frustrating. I see all of the great things happening to CS:S, along with CS:GO...and I get a bit angry.

I've played with most of the DoD developers, and they're a great group of people...so, I don't blame them.

I know what is doable at this point...and what isn't. I wish that Valve would please at least give us the fixed stock maps. We know that those are done, and have been for awhile. If I'm wrong, please correct me

I'm excited about CS:GO, and I do plan to buy it. I just hope it's a success, because then maybe Valve might take a look at the DoD franchise, and put some shine back into it.

They don't have time for that, they need to make cs:go and finish up HL3 lol

lol yeah. I doubt they'll touch day of defeat for a long time if ever. I don't it has a big popularity that it needs a new sequel when other games are doing much better.

...and just so you guys know I'm not full of crap...yes, the stock maps have been fixed, Valve just hasn't released them:
