Jin is the son of Kazuya (who is kind of the devil lol), his mother was murdered (like he said in the preview). His trainer was Heihachi.

i thought henachi was his grandpa, and kazuya was the leader of a multi million dollar company and started a war....

Ginpachi is Heihachi's father, who is Kazuya's father, who is Jin's father. Mishima Zaibatsu was originally Ginpachi's company, but it was stolen by Heihachi before the first tournament. Kazuya won it from him in the first King of Iron Fist (Tekken) tournament. Heichachi won it back the next year. Beyond that, it gets very detailed.

you're right. not only is it a video game movie, but it's a fighting game movie.

tekken will probably suck. but i'll still watch it and enjoy it more than the average person because i'm a fighting game fan.
