What's your best weapon?

I've found some ridiculous ones, from the MIRV Fatman launcher, to the triple barreled bayoneted missile launcher. But my best weapon is the 10mm pistol I got at level five. It's special, it's an auto pistol, extended mag, silencer, with a wounding prefix. For those of you who have not been so blessed by the RN jesus, wounding is a prefix you can get on any gun that makes it do an additional 25 points bleeding damage per bullet. And I'm not entirely sure on this, but I don't think there's any bleeding resistances in the game.

So to the math for you, before damage calculations are done by the bullets alone, if I hit something with all 24 bullets in a mag, the bleed itself does 600 points of damage. I have killed 2 Legendary Deathclaws in about 10 seconds with this silly thing.

Anyone else find anything ridiculous like that?

I haven't found anything like that, but I would definitely like to. In some sense, I guess I'd rather take the challenge, but a 10mm like that would be pretty special.

Early on I did find a .308 silenced sniper rifle that's pretty sweet. Not much damage (65), but it's quiet and works well with the chameleon gear.

Honestly, I don't use it all that often anymore. Only in emergencies. I didn't get a decent sniper rifle til long after I got the pistol, and it's my main gun now. Wish I had gotten one sooner.

My most reliable gun is called The Defiant its a modded combat rifle and it is chambered in 308. it does 100 damage and yes I named it myself. My most powerful gun I have though is called The Valiant and it is a 50. sniper rifle that does like 150 damage but I think my shotgun called The Hammer does more like 175 but I cant remember. Those are the three guns I keep with me at all times and they serve me well.

I got the worst of luck when it comes to drops. Comes to the point where I'd preferred if they stuck to the concept of "unique weapons" like in the previous couple games. Although they kind of still have them, like the one I'm using, which does a good enough job. At that point any fancy double shot gauss rifle would just be overkill.

Only thing tho, I wish I didn't have to constantly sell shit to buy more ammunition, since plasma cartridges are so damn rare in the wild. As of right now I can't really afford to mod that thing to be automatic, which is a shame since it makes the rifle that much more satisfying and fun to use, with all the kick it gives.
