    New Build

So I am thinking of starting over again. I do not like where I placed certain light armor perks. I never really used them. And after getting badass at crafting and enchanting, I can be a sneaky bastard in lightweight heavy armor. So I really only need light armor incidentally earlier in the game for sneaking.

Also, I know the game well enough, I am certain that a bunch of things I did as separately for leveling, crafting or money-making strategies could be combined very effectively.

So I am thinking of going straight to Riften, getting the Amulet. Heading back to whiterun to marry the heavy armor brawler chick so I can use her house and get the lovers comfort. Then start a circuit of theft, crafting, potion mixing, enchanting, then reselling in each town/village. I can buy magic items to disenchant as I go up in level. I figure I can even avoid the first dragon fight long enough to get my sneaking and crafting skills all to 100.

I should get up near 40/45 doing that. I wonder how fast I could do it...

I know the locations of many easy to get to ingots and crafting supplies to make it go quick. Anyone got any crafting-to-level-quickly tricks that are not too sploity?

I've found the easiest way to level enchanting is to enchant all the armor I make while leveling smithing. 2 birds with one stone. Works out pretty effectively and makes you a shitload of money in the process. I also make sure I upgrade as much of my created armor while leveling because then I can sell it for more(and it still increases your smithing skill). Don't forget you can buy supplies from the various blacksmiths. I personally find that the best place for me to powerlevel my crafting is in whiterun because you have both smiths, the drunken huntsman, and belethor's to sell all the crap. Plus you can buy supplies from all of them. While leveling smithing/enchanting I try to make sure I go pay for training of various types(could combine it with alchemy training fairly easily) so that I don't get my ass kicked out in the world. The companions are great for this.

For alchemy I just ran to all the cities(as opposed to taking the carriage) and ended up with enough ingredients to max my alchemy out and then some. I did all of my alchemy leveling in the alchemists shop so that I could train for 5 levels of it every level up...makes it require significantly less materials, and you'll have all the cash in the world from selling your enchanted armor/weapons and the potions you are making.

I found the good old dungeon delving was a great experience builder.

I hunt deer. Pelts to leather, its the only input needed. make braches and helmets as they only need leather and leather straps (which comes right from the leather). I haven't noticed any difference in experience gained depending on what you make, only that you make. I additem cheated to 100 leather and turned that into 4 or 5 level ups.

By the way, pickpocketing is the easiest skill to level...I got from 20 to 100 in about 40 minutes...and overall level like 9 to 26

I had 1 point into the first pickpocket perk, sat next to a trainer and just bought a level, then stole the gold back...I guess its cheap, you need to quick-save every time since you only have like a 10-20% chance

Do this sometime after you start the game(optimally before you hit level 10) and have about 5k gold, pick a trainer for whatever you want to train

This is probably a fairly mainstream method but I'm sure not everyone here knows
