Thread: Diablo 3

I just wanted to tell everyone and brag a little. I randomly logged on battle.net and saw I had the beta for d3. Well anyways, this game feels fantastic, it really isn't far off from d2 when it comes to the combat. Some of my favorite things about d2 was the art direction, death animations, sounds. D3 has all of that from what I am allowed to play and see. At first, the graphics feel slightly off, like maybe what they did with the engine isn't the best choice for d3. After some bits of combat and spell animations and random effects, the glow of d2 sets in. The sounds and death animations are straight badass, something that players have to experience on their own. The melee combat is addicting. Right now, I don't seem to care about crafting my stats, so I'm not worried about the new changes. I'm already finding low level neat items and all I can say, is that I want this game. I always thought that Diablo lore was good shit, the war between heaven and hell is interesting. They're doing more for that, villagers have more to say and books drop everywhere that contain lore. I haven't done everything yet, but this game is exciting. Im starting to feel like it is 10 years ago. A new diablo game? A new CS game? Some of the best years in pc gaming lol.
