new new build
So I started over again... Character number five.
Going for another assassin type build, but with no light armor perks and maybe maces or axes instead of the traditonal sword. And of course an artificer...
I made a Breton ... I figured since I am not playing a caster I can squeeze more levels out of the combat and sneak skills by playing a race that is not initially suited to those roles.
Immediately got married and started hording crafting materials. I have not even been to bleakwind barrow yet. I intend to max out my sneak, pick locks, pick pockets, smithing, alchemy and enchanting before I leave the circuit of cities to adventure in the wilds.
I made level 15 in two hours, so I must be doing something right... I was unhappy with perks I picked before, so this build may be more optimal. Plus with all the mods my chick is hot, and married another chick; meow...maximusboomus liked this post

Re: new new build
I just started a second character, Warrior-Mage. No Arrows, No single handed weapons. She is pretty damn foxy, I plan to do a similar thing to what you're doing Soy, no missions to start, just get my character started. I have "the reserve" mod so I have a great home to base my adventures on. The wars mod is making travelling very dangerous and extremely exciting! I can no longer fast travel everywhere too which is fantastic! My first goal is getting those towns opened up... Rawr!

Day one of mage was an eye opener. I didn't even goto river run, I made a bee line for the main Towns except white run and discovered that the dragons don't spawn if you do so. So I have been wandering collecting provisions, skyrim wars keeps me on my toes and I have yet to find an easy enemy. I have begun to realize that without armor the game is tough, thank God I have Midas magic and another magic mod (I forgot which one) so I can be a slight annoyance to enemies! :-) now I need to build up my power and find me a few staffs!
Sent from my pocket.

Re: new new build
I don't think dragons start spawning until you trigger the first one attacking the Western Watch tower in whiterun.
I have not completed bleakfalls barrow but I am running around whiterun and no dragons.
I do NOT know if Deadly Dragons changes spawning to happen regardless of that initial trigger.
