OK, so they cater to console gamers again why?

I find it pretty funny how Halo is the game on the xbox with the most staying power (people actually playing it after the next big game release). Most Xbox people I know drop whatever game they have to get the newest one and never pick it up again. Im actually kind of concerned that this is were gaming is going, I dont want to have to pick up a console to play video games, and I dont want to have to by Team fortress 3, 4, double team, 5, at war, 6, and Christmas edition to keep playing with my buddies over the years. (thank god for valve).

Its easy to understand why they cater to the console players. That crowd really doesnt care about the quality of the game that is coming out, but more so that its coming out. Factor in that they can get 13 year olds to pester their parents to shell out 60 bucks every year for a reskinned game, then another 60 bucks the next year for DLC that is required to play the same game..rinse and repeat every year. They are easier to get money out of...plain and simple.
