    Well, it's basically insulting DotA. That's why it bugs me.

    Skill 1 / Q / "Spell's name" / "What the spell does" / "Old skool name" are always acceptable.

    That doesn't make any sense. And I don't think there is another way to refer to spells other than the ones you mentioned.

    On another note, would someone mind explaining the difference between pure damage and HP-removal? My only guess is hp-removal might interact with consumables differently? no idea.

    Yeah, that's true. Like, HP Removal is just simply removing hp. Not "technically" doing damage, I believe. So it won't cancel BlinkDaggers cooldown, items, ect. Pure damage ignores all resistences, so if it says it will do 300 damage, it will always do 300 damage (unbuffed) Hp removal is pretty rare though... I know Necromancers passive is HP removal
