Creations
I created all of this in survival mode. Done with that and moving to creative to finish some other things that I wish to create.
My new home. Again, started on survival and had tons of sand in the area to work with. The stone is for wiring which I'll explain later. It was an addition, you could say.
In case I need milk or wool, I have a little dugout area to keep the sheep and cows. Nothing special.
My library so I can enchant shit. Again, nothing special. I have the max number of bookcases to get the most out of my enchanting.
Powered rail system leading to one of my main mineshafts. Helps to deliver goods mid mining trip.
Shit. It appears my lights are off. Good thing my lamps are switched on.
That's better. Switch flipped and my lighting system is back on. Torches are worthless. I created a redstone circuit to power redstone lamps in my ceiling. The extra addition you saw that was made of stone is to accommodate this system.
My bed and dining area with cake! You can see my redstone lamp setup here. My table is made of pistons that are activated and the chairs are wooden steps. Again, nothing special.
My workshop. You can see my lighting system continues into this room. Also a couple more redstone lamps for aesthetics.
Shipping and receiving? What the hell?
With a click of a button my storage minecart goes to my most recent creation. The rail system is automated and goes completely underground so I don't get a creeper stuck that blows my wiring and system.
My wheat field!
It's tiered because it's automated.
The system runs based on a floodgate system operated by a piston and of course a level in the control room. You can see the openings for the flooding water.
My irrigation runs under the cobblestone slabs.
When flooded, this water flows to my collection "plate."
Entrance to my control room.
Oh, there's that minecart I sent away.
My control switch to control the flooding.
So I can see if everything is operating properly. If successful the wheat and seeds should flow through this duct.
It's flooding time!
This shows the water flow in more detail.
Success. When done, everything flows to one cut out block. I simply get close and collect.
When switched off, the piston goes back up and blocks the water flow.
Quick screenshot of my piston. I didn't have slime so I didn't make a sticky piston hence the gravel.
Aerial of my wheat farm and my failed first experiment and test one. Just ignore that :P
Aerial of my house and the surrounding area. Simple cobblestone generator on top of my house. Unlimited cobblestone without having to go down a shaft. Win.
All of this is probably simple stuff that you've done before, but I'm proud of my babies :P
