Keep in mind that this is based more on Battletech than previous versions of mechwarrior. Long Range Missiles limited to 200 - 640 meters per the old BT tabletop rules. All the mechs will have the standard loadouts, but you can pay c-bills to alter them just like previous editions. This starts in 3049, so right before the clan mechs show up (mad cat, vulture, etc) but they are advancing the timeline as our real life time line advances.

Although this seems short, keep in mind that there are different variant chassis for each mech. The catapult for example has the K2 variant that replaces the missile hardpoints on the 'arms' with laser hardpoints and mounts a ppc in each.

That is the battletech wiki, just type in the name of the mech. Some variants come later in the timeline so keep that in mind.

There is a podcast for MWO and all the 'mech' type games coming out this year, as well as discussion on the battletech novels (some of which now on kindle) and various other items of interest.

I'm still in, but I need a big green Thunderbolt. I guess an Awesome or Atlas will do till they come to their senses and build my favorite mech. ;-)

I talk to a few of the devs fairly regularly and I would doubt that the 'unseen' ones will be in anytime soon considering the legal problems they have had with macross, etc in the past.

Mechwarrior 4 Mercs is completely free now btw and was released via mektek. That group is also redoing the game that is associated with the battletch pods that go around to cons as well as an Ipad game called Mechwarrior: Tactical Command.

There is also a game called Mechwarrior Tactics that is kind of a lance vs lance turned based game. Looks interesting but I dunno since it has a collectible card aspect to it.

All of them have been 'reseen' but I think they don't want to deal with it. Who knows, we might get them eventually as their goal is all of the mechs.
