Monthly sub FPS?

The days of the subscription is coming to an end. Games are going the Free to Play route nowadays.

Both awesome games way ahead of their time. WWIIO would have been awesome had they figured how to make more playable, I always hated how long it took to get to a hot spot only to get insta killed by some laggy bastard. As for Planetside, I almost lost my wife over that game!

I somewhat agree with your point on latency, but if that were the only factor then people would only play LANs. That being said I know people on the east coast that play west coast servers, and vice versa, in FPS games. Hell, we have people in Europe that play on our servers in Texas. I think you could do server banks in strategic locations, much like MMOs and MOBAs do, and it would work. It would take a little outside the box thinking, but I bet with help from a few friends even I could make it work, lol.
