Hardcore

Ok, so who's playing some hardcore and what classes?

I'm rocking a Monk who just hit level 10 and just beat the Skeleton King.

My thing that I'm doing that I hope helps is rocking the crafting guy to try and upgrade my armor faster. I've found that the monk is pretty good with HC because it has that heal that you can use that recharges way faster than the Pot 30 second cooldown.

I am going to do hardcore mode once I beat the game in normal first.
Currently playing a witch doctor, but will probably re-roll a barbarian or monk for hardcore.

Hardcore loot is soooooo much better.

Yeah I'm finding this too. It's a good thing too cause I had to waste so much crafting material to get gloves that weren't intelligence.

I'm level 12 now and Monk really feels like the best way to solo Hardcore, the skils work with it so well, I'm using the original primary with thunder clap which is awesome along with the kick with the crane kick add-on or whatever it is that brings fire. Then I have the heal skill that in a couple levels will also do holy damage and is great at keeping me alive when I have pot recharge, and my last skill that I have open right now is the blinding one with longer duration. It's great for bosses and high damage enemies as they just stop attacking you, great for getaways and great for mobs. Monk is looking to be the way to go for Hardcore I think.

QQ I server got laggy...in the middle of a huge swarm of higher level monsters...healing spell and potion wouldn't activate.

Started over as a Wizard. Luckily it lets you a) keep your gold and b) keep your craftsman/jeweler levels. At least this will let me get into the land of rainbows and bunnies and purple unicorns.

Another good thing about the Monk is one of their passives are damage you deal reduces enemy damage by 25% for 2.5 seconds it's good for helping survive.

Ok, so I was DCed from the server earlier and it wouldn't let me rejoin. I just was able to get back into the game and guess what my monks dead, stupid always online bullshit.
