Thread: Diablo 3 Guest Passes

Guys don't give out these guest passes to random people who aren't regs it seems the guess pass characters is a facet of how the items from hacked accounts are being moved to the "legit" accounts. Blizzard is apparently having trouble tracking down the actual accounts who are benefiting from this since its always a guess passed character who is doing the dirty work of loggin on through this hack and cleaning out the inventory of folks.

Yep. Mine are only going to regs that I know.

Sorry for my bluntness, but if anyone is dumb enough to give a guest pass to some one who just registered and they do not know, they deserve to get hacked.

Giving out the guess pass does not compromise your account, as far as can be told from my reading, its just that you may be giving a hack what he needs to defile some unknown gamer brother or sister's account, its the game version of a prepaid throw away cell phone.

Yes. I was misinformed, the guest passes are indeed being used to move items and gold.

Cloning session id's is how the hackers are stripping resources from people. No word on if they are/have closed the loophole yet. For now not playing in public games would be the best for you.
