Thread: Auction House

So I've put a number of items out there. I didn't track the stats of the first things I put there but here's what I think people are buying (quickly).

Most of the items I've sold have been between 500-1,000 gold. Had one item at 3,000 that sold.

Many have a stat upgrade from +1 to +4.

Some just had speed increase or attack increase.

Most items bought were some type of armor, ring, hat, belt, or boots. Weapons don't seem to matter.

All items were bought for buy out price. No one has made a single bid on anything. I've put up approximately 25-30 items total.

Prices were usually set at starting at double the sell price rounded up to the nearest 50. Buy out was usually 4x or 8x (8 if it had magic find and a +stat).

The rings are the key... Any blue or gold ring should sell at about 1k .. As long as that ring isn't complete shit it will sell pretty fast.

Yeah, I generally don't both with the AH for selling, especially with the market not being established and the limitation on sell orders per week (I'm fine with at a time...just not per day/week/month).

If anyone is on Hardcore and wants me to look out for items for them, I can certainly do that at no charge. I get most of my items from the AH though...in a lot of cases I can actually get better items for cheaper than buying than in game or crafting.

I can remote into my home computer from work and with that, I tend to frequent the auction house to essentially buy low and sell high..er..

I have been buying 5000 coin rings and offing them for 8-9k.. I made over 80k in about an hour.. Fridays are dead slow here...
