Possible Nexuiz giveaway
I'm thinking about getting a 4-pack of Nexuiz with some inevitable B-day money. Would anyone be interested in a copy? If I do this, one will be giving away here, one for my old Tribes team members, and one for my IRL friends.
I also need ideas about how to actually do the giveaway. Random drawing, Quiz, ect.
B-day is the 17th so you have till then to tell me your idea's

Re: Possible Nexuiz giveaway
I'd be interested in a copy.
Just make a topic and have people pick a random number.
RANDOM.ORG - True Random Number Service
(ex. 1-1000)
Closest number gets it.

Choosing numbers and picking the closest isn't indiscriminate. You can gain a substantial advantage by choosing last. For example, if there are three people, the first chooses 500, then the next two choose 499 and 501.

When 30 to 50 people put in entries it becomes an even bigger problem. Especially if they know what they're doing. If you're the first of those 30, you're going to get crowded out immediately. But the last person can choose the widest remaining gap and no one can crowd him out. It's only a fair system if all the player are idiots who choose numbers randomly.
