The difficulty was perfect before. Inferno is optional, it's not for the weak...now it's too easy, everyone can do it. There goes the feeling of achievement for soloing Inferno

i'd wager a lot that they are planning on adding a harder difficulty, especially given the recent giant boost in item stats.

I still find it an achievement, I am still stuck in the start of Act III (because I don't play through after I die x many times) and I am still farming up in Act I/II to progress my way through.

As it was, inferno was near impossible for Witch Doctors. And you were pigeonholed into using a Splinters/Zombie Bears/Vision Quest build. Nothing else was viable. Even then, you needed gear from Act3 and Act4 to beat Act2. Pets died to single hits from boss mobs in the higher acts regardless of the gear you had, so they were pointless.

Witch Doctors were broken in Inferno, and not in the overpowered way. They had one playstyle and 3 skills that were viable and they still needed gear from an act higher than they were able to solo. It was dumb and why I stopped playing.

I think they did a bit too much in one patch. Better items drops or paragon levels. Not both at once...

Enjoying new patch...

As far as inferno solo goes... I don't know what kind of characters people are rolling with and how high of gear you have... but Act3 is still whooping my ass and I'm geared up pretty damn good on both my DH and my Monk. Could use better weapons but aside from that I don't know what else I could change. (Plus I don't have 20mil+ to get those kind of weapons off of the AH and I damn sure don't find any weapons that would be an improvement.)

Same here.. I may have to switch to a 50% block 20% dodge build..
