Could this be a "steam box" precursor? I think that signs point in that direction. At any rate, I think that this'll be interesting...

yeah i dont get it , its still steam just hooked up to your tv?

Pretty much. It's just a Steam optimized to be viewed from a distance instead of up close like you normally view your computer. Doesn't have to be hooked up to a TV. I like it since I have a couch opposite my computer desk, so I can view everything from my couch.
