Steam on Linux now in beta

    This is pretty rad!

Steam for Linux Beta Client Is Officially Available - Softpedia

    List of games available.

... and the official steam page...
Steam Community :: Steam for Linux

So in the near future you will be able to play TF2 for only the cost of hardware and internet access, nothing more. Free OS, Free game.. hope more companies develop/port for linux now.

Yeh this is great. Hope they get a few lightweight games that could run on my raspberry pi.

Sent from my kindle fire pretending to be a nexus 7 with CM10 and tapatalk 2

Check that list out, several fairly lightweight games already that run on tablets.

lol nothing more. You say that like the OS is the most expensive part of the system when in fact it's the cheapest. Not to mention a pre-built machine includes Windows with the price of the machine.

Windows 7 and Windows 8 are $100. This is a great dollars vs cents argument.

A better one would be now you don't have to use Windows because you don't like it.

Well that makes no sense without an explanation.

Doesn't matter though, I'm not against Linux or anything I was just saying for the NORM what I said is how it is and you could have used a better reason than what you said is all. I also hope more start developing for Linux, not that I'll use it in the near future but that is besides the point.

Re: Steam on Linux now in beta

Your post read like someone trolling so I treated it as such. I wasn't waving the big flag for linux just saying that you could play TF2 without any software costs. Not many games that are widely popular that you can do that with.
