i bet this overhaul is a side effect of all the work they are doing for the mmo. Basically someone sat there and said hey... we made all the art for all the stuff in morrowind anyway lets port it over!

Max was telling me the other day he has only played Skyrim. Morrowind would be hard to go to after knowing only Skyrim. The graphics issues can be cleared up using this. There's a number of moders out there fixing meshes and textures.

As for the additional maps, NO, this was made by the fans. There's open signups for level design, map making, testing, and cell design. They have alot of material for concept art and what not. I've tried it, you don't have a world map but its really good.

Is what I said after I picked my jaw up off the floor. This mod is UNBELIEVABLE!!!! You will think your playing a brand new game. The grass moves as you push through, waters crystal, sound FX leave you lost in the wilderness, sunlight sparkes through the leaves.

i played like 5 minutes of morrowind :S was on a friends ... god what was it? Xbox maybe? Something like that....
