any advice on XCOM: Enemy Unknown?

So thought I see if anyone here been playing this game and could give me their overall opinion of the game, started looking at it and looks like a great game. I'm a big Final Fantasy Tactics and Disgaea fan and this game seems just like it.

XCOM has been a lot of fun for me. It does start to grind a bit after awhile, if you take it slowly, but overall it's still a very good game.

I really enjoyed playing it and would recommend it. If you start playing, build satelites as quickly as possible.

Sadly when I saw this, I was already deep into the game and just realize that the satelites was bringing in the money. So far the game is great, gotta keep my sniper alive and love it that even tho there is a 90% chance of hit, it can still miss.

Get satellites up as early as you can. But not EVERYWHERE. Keep in mind that when you launch a satellite panic in that area of the world goes down IMMEDIATELY by two points. So you want to have enough satellites to make money. But save some in reserve to drop panic levels when you need to.

And if you really really want to keep that sniper, make sure you get lasers researched as early as possible and plasma too.

Krakkens and shit. stop tempting them.
